Getting Started
Before diving in, it is worth reading Mistakes Pressure Washing Companies Make When Choosing Software, since most questions owners ask come from wanting to avoid those mistakes.
What is PressureWashingBossPro? Software for pressure washing and soft washing companies. It keeps customers, addresses, job details, estimates, the schedule, routes, the crew's day, customer messages and billing in one place, for residential and commercial work.
Do I need to be a big company to use it? No. The Start plan is built for an owner-operator with one rig. The same system grows to several rigs.
How long does setup take? Most of the setup fits into the first week, done in the evenings: services and prices, customers by CSV import, recurring plans, employees and rigs, then a real day in the crew app.
Jobs and Measuring
What details can I store on a job? Surfaces (house wash, roof soft wash, driveway, sidewalk, patio, deck, fence, pool deck, gutter brightening, storefront, drive-thru, dumpster pad, parking garage, fleet), square feet, stories, siding or surface (vinyl, brick, stucco, wood, fiber cement, stone, concrete), method (soft wash, pressure wash, hot water, surface cleaner) and access notes like spigot location, gate code, dogs, plants to cover and cars to move.
Where do those details show? Under the address on the lists and on the crew's phone, as one line: “House Wash, Driveway · 3,800 sq ft · 2-story · Vinyl · Soft Wash.”
Can I measure without visiting? Yes. The property map measures square feet and linear feet from the satellite view, for driveways, roofs and fences, and estimates can price off those measurements.
Recurring Work and Routes
How does recurring work come due? Each recurring plan has a minimum number of days between visits: 30 for monthly storefronts and drive-thrus, 90 for quarterly HOA common areas, 365 for yearly house washes. Due visits land on the Waiting List, a live map and list colored not due, due now and overdue past a 7-day grace.
Can I handle one-time jobs too? Yes. Approved estimates become scheduled jobs, alongside recurring visits.
How does routing work? The dispatch board shows jobs by day and filters by rig. You can auto-route Closest First or Furthest First from the shop, set the order by hand, save views and print route sheets.
The Crew and Customer Apps
Do my operators need an app store download? No. The crew app runs in the browser on iPhone and Android and installs to the home screen. Operators log in with the company login and their own PIN.
What does the crew app do? Jobs in route order, a navigation button, job details and access notes, past notes, Start / Skip / Complete, before-and-after photos, automatic on-the-way and arrived texts, invoice and card-on-file charge on completion, and a time clock. Crew GPS shows on the office map.
What do customers see? A live route map on service day (“You're stop 12 of 20 — the crew is 5 stops away”), plus service requests, sign-ups and pricing, card updates, invoices, online payment, ratings and referrals. They choose their alerts: night before, when they're next and when the crew arrives.
Quotes, Texting and Billing
Can customers approve estimates online? Yes. The approved estimate becomes the scheduled job, and the job details carry over. Estimate follow-up emails go out on unanswered quotes.
Is texting included? Yes. Every plan includes a monthly allowance of segments sent and received: 500 on Start, 1,000 on Pro and 2,000 on Crew, for customers in the US and Canada.
How do I get paid? Invoices with line items and sales tax are created when a job is completed. You can auto-charge a card on file on completion or on a schedule, customers can pay online in the customer app, and past-due follow-up goes out on open invoices.
Can commercial accounts get one bill? Yes. A client set to Monthly gets one statement each month covering every location, with each line labeled with its address.
Data, Countries and Pricing
Can I import my customers? Yes, by CSV import. Imported addresses are placed on the map automatically.
Where does it work? The US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, billing customers in their own currency.
How much does it cost? Start is $59 a month, Pro is $89 and Crew is $199. Employees, customers and addresses are unlimited on every plan. The plan breakdown is in Pressure Washing Software Pricing: What Start, Pro and Crew Include.
Is there a free trial? Yes, 14 days with full access and no credit card needed to start. There is also a live demo you can click through before signing up.
