House and Driveway Packages: Bundling Services on a Pressure Washing Estimate

Most homeowners do not want to think about which surfaces to clean. They want the house to look good. A package gives them one easy decision, and gives you a bigger ticket on a single trip with the rig. The house wash plus driveway is the classic, but it is far from the only bundle worth offering.

Why Packages Work

Individual extras, like gutters and rust, are covered in Add-Ons on a Pressure Washing Estimate: Gutter Brightening, Rust and Gum Removal. Packages take that idea a step further by grouping the most common combinations together.

For the customer, a package is simpler. Instead of weighing five separate lines, they choose between “House Wash” and “House + Driveway.” For you, a package means more work per stop. You already drove there, set up the hoses and filled the tank. Washing the driveway while you are on site costs you much less than coming back for it later.

Packages That Make Sense

Some combinations show up again and again on residential quotes:

Start with one or two packages based on what your customers already buy together. If half your driveway customers also get a house wash, that is your first package.

Pricing a Package

There are two common approaches:

Either is fine. If you discount, make sure the package still pays better than the house wash alone; the whole point is a bigger ticket per stop. And make the saving visible on the estimate, so the customer sees why the package is the better deal.

Saving Packages as Templates

Building the same three lines by hand on every quote is slow and invites mistakes. In PressureWashingBossPro, estimate templates and packages let you save common combinations and reuse them. Pick “House + Driveway,” and the lines come in from your service list, ready for the measurements and the job details.

The square-foot lines still price from the property's measurements, so a package on a big lot comes out bigger than on a small one. You get the speed of a template without one-size-fits-all pricing. More on that in Estimate Templates for Pressure Washing: Quoting Your Common Jobs in a Few Clicks.

Presenting a Package on the Estimate

A package should be easy to read. A few habits help:

When the customer approves online, every line in the package carries onto the job, and the crew sees all the surfaces on their phone: “House Wash, Driveway · 3,800 sq ft · 2-story · Vinyl · Soft Wash.” Nothing in the bundle gets forgotten.

Name packages for what the customer gets, not for your internal shorthand. “Front of House Refresh” or “House + Driveway” tells the customer exactly what they are buying. Clever names like “Platinum” make people stop and wonder what is in each tier, and a customer who has to wonder is a customer who waits.

Packages Over Time

A package can also become a yearly plan. A customer who loves their House + Driveway can be set up as recurring with a minimum of 365 days between visits, so it comes due on the Waiting List next year without anyone needing to remember. That turns one good quote into years of steady work.

Watch which packages customers choose and which they skip. If nobody picks the backyard package, maybe it is priced wrong or worded poorly. If almost everybody picks House + Driveway, it may deserve to be the default on every house wash quote.
